WARSAW — Two Warsaw residents have been charged with three level 6 felonies last week when officers discovered a large assortment of hypodermic needles and a supply of methamphetamine in her residence.
Tara Rayne McClone, 35, and Blake Edward Bradford, 28, both of 1710 Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw, were arrested and booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on charges of maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a syringe and possession of methamphetamine.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, officers with the Warsaw City Police Department responded last Thursday, July 7, to a medical call from a female with a warrant who had taken methamphetamine.

The female was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital, where she told officers she had injected a drug she believed to be meth and that it made her body feel as if it was on fire. She told officers where she had obtained the drug and told them the resident was named Tara.
Court documents state officers went to the address indicated. A male opened the door and, inside, officers saw, “an abundance of hypodermic needles.” The male closed the door slightly and a second male, later identified as Bradford, attempted to block the syringes from officers’ view.
Officers entered the apartment and located McClone and another male. While officers were awaiting additional police personnel, they heard a phone ringing and the first male told them it belonged to the female who had been taken to the hospital.
Officers read McClone the Miranda Rights and she told them she understood and agreed to speak with them, however she denied consent to search the residence. After obtaining a search warrant, officers found plastic bags with a white, powdery substance that field tested positive for meth. They also found more syringes.
Officers also discovered Bradford’s driver’s license on the counter next to the bags and syringes. As the searched, they uncovered several more bags containing syringes and methamphetamine.
McClone admitted to using meth and told officers she would never stop doing so. Others in the residence also admitted to using drugs and Bradford told offices he had been staying with McClone. McClone and Bradford were both booked in the Kosciusko County Jail, each with bond set at $5,250 surety and cash.
